Photos- Lakes

Lakes are often overabundant with rough fish.  Many times the sports fisherman welcome the bowfishermen to help in reducing the numbers of rough fish in a body of    water.  This Common Carp was harvested from a small private pond in Pennsylvania for population control.  Boy he looks excited about doing his duty as a bowfishermen.  This particular fish weighed  in  at  19 pounds and was not the only catch of the evening on the water!

Wow that fish is almost as long as he is!  Mark was delighted about harvesting this 25 pound bottom feeder from a Lake in New York State.  Larger fish like this   one  are often found solitary in waters where few other carp are present.  To celebrate it appears Mark is enjoying a fine beverage as well!  Well when the work day is done I guess it is Lebatts Time!

Cody and Lowell Poland are shown here with some fantastic Paddlefish!  These fish are true trophies and fine eating I might add.  The Paddle fish is  very   difficult to stalk and it is done in broad daylight.  Lowell stars in the Iron Mountain Videos on Bowfishing.  I sure hope these beauties are on the next video so we can see where  they were  taken  and how much they weighed.  Terrific job guys, we might just have to take a trip out to the Midwest soon!
