Greetings!  Welcome to a web site dedicated to one of the oldest and most fascinating sports of our time, bowfishing.  The "Carp Killer  Connection"   started in 1998 when a few interested people in Pennsylvania became obsessed with this timeless sport of hunting Carp with the bow and arrow.  In 1999 we decided to form a group and  publish this web site to  help  others meet and learn about the intricacies of the one sport that combines both fishing and hunting.  We are based out of Pennsylvania and in the past focused all our  attentions to the Northeast  USA.  This  section of the United States receives little attention concerning bow fishing.  Since 2001 we have expanded and now communicate nationwide with  bowfishermen!  In fact our president  currently lives in  Connecticut and is trying to establish a "connection" in that State.    We're Running Our Open tournamnet in May Click & See!  The mission of this site is to educate and connect bowfishermen all over the country.  We  provide  information on:  Rigging your craft, Equipment, Hot Spots, Types of Fish, Tournaments and  More!  No longer does our group pursue exclusively Carp.  We have broadened our range and target  species list to  include: Carp, Gar, Suckers, Carpsuckers, Stingrays, Redfish, Sheepshead, Sharks,  Paddlefish, White Amur, Bowfin, Mullet, and many more!  This site now contains critical information on the  most common target  species sought by the bowfishermen.  Hopefully this background  information on these fish and equipment will make your identification and pursuit of the game more enjoyable.  Recommendations on Equipment  and Links to other similar organizations are also  located among the many pages of this exciting site.   Many people log on to see the wonderful photographs sent to us by  people from all over the country.   This of course is the 'bragging"  area and the most fun to produce!  Please send in any photographs of your catch and we will do our best to put them in the Photos  section!  If you have any information on  tournaments or new and  exciting information on the bowfishing community please write  us and we will get the word out!  Our e-mail address is:  Jerry@CarpKillerConnection.com [Home Page] [Links] [Species] [Tourneys] [Boat Rigs] [Photos] [Equipment] [Contact Us]  [The Store]
